MOUNTAIN HOME HIGH SCHOOL ANNOUNCES THE HIRING OF NEW VARSITY HEAD COACH MICHAEL JORDAN!
A MESSAGE FROM THE COACH 10/2/17
"Hello again Everybody! It has been an amazing season for all three of our teams so far! The fan support and energy at our home matches has been incredible and it is obvious that our teams have continued to improve over the course of the season! As we draw close to the end of our 2017 run, I encourage all of you to get out to one of our last home matches either on 10/3 or 10/12! We play Bishop Kelley on Thursday the 12th and that will also be our Senior Night where we will honor Paris Mederios and Hanna Rios!
We will be hosting Districts in Mountain Home this season and that will take place on 10/18 and 10/19......your Varsity Tigers plan on being in the hunt for a bid to the state tournament and we will need the support of Tiger Nation and the entire town of Mountain Home to pull it off!"
See you on the court!
A MESSAGE FROM THE COACH 8/27/17
"Hello again Everybody! All three of our teams have been working extremely hard over the last several weeks in preparation for our first match against Ridgevue on the 29th. We will be traveling to their place for this one and the level of excitement surrounding the program is palpable!
We have our home opener against the Caldwell Cougars on the 31st and we can't hardly wait for our fans to come out and experience V Ball in a whole new way! The Gym will be rocking! There will be some opportunities to win free t shirts during the intermission and we are expecting an incredible turnout from our fans, family and the MOHO Student's! This is my first season here and I am told that there is a "Scream Team" here and I can't wait to see what they bring to the table in support of our Tigers!
See you on the court!"
A MESSAGE FROM THE COACH 8/1/17
"I'm very pleased to announce that I have made two critical additions to our coaching staff with the hiring of Becca Eacker to lead our Junior Varsity team and Krista Connell to lead our Frosh / Soph team. Both head coaches bring a great deal of knowledge and passion for the sport to the MOHO program and I couldn't be more happy that they have both agreed to be a part of the coaching staff. Under their guidance, I expect that both teams will experience a great deal of success this season."
Now that Summer Open Gym opportunities have concluded, all attention is focused on the upcoming try outs for the program. The MOHO Tigers will carry three teams for the upcoming season, Varsity, Junior Varsity and Frosh / Soph. Tryouts will take place on Friday 8/11 from 2:30 - 8:00pm and Saturday 8/12 from 9:00am - 4:00pm. If necessary, there may be an additional tryout session scheduled on Monday 8/14 for the JV and Frosh / Soph teams. Otherwise, practices will begin on that same day.
